What are the CV Writing Mistakes to Avoid?

No tailoring – You must decorate your CV every new vacancies, if you submit same CV to all, it may be disgusting. And such kind of CV is not match for particular job. 

Highlighting duties instead of achievements – Do not highlight duties such as marketing, commanding, paper making, but it is good to narrate your achievements. It can be ‘Worked in ...team as leader and achieved ...’

Breaking the 2-page rule – two page cv is standard, if necessary you can take extra pages, But if you write 4/5 pages, it may be bored to employers.

Using clichés – Do not say ‘good quality’, or ‘good communication skill’ rather than saying your achievements that covers your skills.

Poor design – Poor designed CV is not easily readable. Readability is necessary, but you can not use too many colors and fonts, employers want to know about you paying only short times. So with good design present your information, if do not want to be in unqualified people’s list.

Incorrect personal details – wrong phone number or wrong e-mail address irritate employer. It is possible if you are crazy. Why you write your phone number wrong? or why your e-mail address will wrong? And clearer that your extension whether .com or .co.uk.
